Aleksey Grigoryevich Count Orlov is a Russian, born on 5th October in the year 1737 and he was a statesman and Russian soldier and he rose to prominence in the time of reigning of Catherine the Great. Aleksey Grigoryevich has served in the army of imperial Russian and because of the connection with his brother, he has become a key conspirator in the plot for overthrowing Tsar Peter III. After that Aleksey Grigoryevich was promoted and from the year 1764 to 1974 he has taken part in the war of Russo-Turkish by commanding a naval expedition in 1770 to the Mediterranean and at the chesma battle this has destroyed the Ottoman fleet and he was given the honorific Chesmensky for this success. Soon afterward, this Russian victory was sparked off in the Greek territories because of the Orlov Revolt.
